Longer validity visitor visas

Australian Citizenship
The process of applying for Australian citizenship can vary depending on your situation.

Resident Return Visas
A Permanent Visa will enable its holder to travel in and out of Australia for up to five years beginning on the date the visa is granted. However, as soon as these five years elapse, you will need to apply for a Resident Return Visa if you wish to depart from and re-enter Australia as a Permanent Resident.

Unrestricted work rights now available for partner and parent visa applicants

Changes to migration regulations towards the end of 2012 have meant that all applicants for 'onshore' partner and parent visas now have unrestricted work rights whilst they are in Australia on their bridging visa.

Simon has been involved in the Australian migration industry since 2005. He is formerly of the Australian Department of Home Affairs. At the time of his departure from the Department he was the manager of the Complex Cases Unit for Victoria. Simon also served for 2 years as the Portfolio Holder for Skilled Migration in the Department's contact centre and spent several years training Departmental staff on all visa types. He has extensive visa and immigration knowledge. His specialty areas are Skilled Migration and people who have 'unlawful' status in Australia.
