Featured Visa − Employer Sponsored Visa |
|
If you are an employer considering sponsoring an overseas worker it is important to note that the requirement for 'labour market testing' will take effect from November 23rd. This means that from this time you will need to be able to prove that you are hiring an overseas worker because you have been unable to fill the position using local labour. National Visas can help you understand how this important change affects your application.

New Minister to end 'red tape' for employer sponsored visas |
|
If you have been following the drama this year surrounding employer sponsored visas (457s) in Australia, you will know that the program has been widely publicised and debated. The new Minister for Immigration and Border Protection had previously vowed to cut some of the 'red tape' surrounding this visa program. However it appears that the changes made by the Gillard government will still come into effect on November 23rd.
It is now more important than ever that if you are considering hiring an overseas worker that you seek professional assistance.

Melbourne's attraction is now home to Pinjarra, a five-metre saltwater crocodile that weighs 750 kilograms! The predator is shown in the Croc Lair exhibit that offers a 360 view from three levels, allowing visitors to see up-close the reptile's movements and habitat.

‘Hot Tip’ for November:
It is critical that you make completely honest declarations in all of your visa applications. The Australian government has a requirement applicable to many visas called '4020'. The effect of this requirement is that it allows decision makers to refuse your visa if you have provided any false or misleading information in your visa application or if you have provided false information in certain previous applications.
For example, some applicants may not have disclosed minor criminal offences in previous applications. When you apply for a permanent visa you then need to show police clearances. If these show your convictions you could have serious 4020 issues.
